Craig Schifferns was hired by CSH in 2012 as both an archaeological and GIS technician. He is currently the GIS Specialist. In that role he works a cartographer, lead total station surveyor and assists in the maintenance of CSH’s cultural resource GIS database. His other responsibilities include GPS data collection and post-processing. He is proficient in the use of handheld Garmin GPS and Trimble mapping-grade GPS systems and provides training on this as well as ESRI ArcGIS, Trimble Pathfinder Office, Adobe Illustrator and AutoCAD GIS/Graphics software packages. Mr. Schifferns holds a BA in Geography with an emphasis on technology from University of Hawaii at Manoa.
